1st-3rd overall men and 1st-3rd overall women receive beautiful trophies. Age group winners receive plaques and medals; 2nd and 3rd receive medals. 1st place teams receive plaques. All finishers receive Whaletown blue ribbons! Age groups are as follows:
The Anita Lions Club will sponsor a spaghetti supper (with homemade sauce!) on Friday, August 1, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM FREE to all participants, and only $4.00 for family and friends, served at the Anita Community Center.
All participants will receive a 100% cotton t-shirt (a new design each year), bag of goodies, swim cap, and prompt race results with pictures of the race! You also get a chance to win one of the great drawing gifts we give away each year from Bike World and Fitness Sports. Plus, there's lots of ice cold Coke and Powerade, oranges and bananas for all participants after the race.
Packets may be picked up on Friday night (after you load up on spaghetti) from 7 to 9 PM at the Anita Community Center, or on race day starting at 6:30 AM. |
